An English Silver basket with a folding handle made in London circa 1812. The basket is beautifully decorated with an applied gadroon and shell border. It stands 10 1/2 inches tall to the tip of the handle by 10 inches wide and 12 inches long. The total weight is 34 troy ounces. There is a family crest in the center of the bowl. The side is clearly hallmarked. It is in good crisp condition with minor surface scratching commensurate with age.
