An American Coin Silver tankard by Benjamin Burt, Boston Massachusetts circa 1775. The cup stands 5 3/4 inches tall to the tip of the handle, with a diameter of 3 inches, and weighs 10.8 troy ounces. There is a monogram on the with a beautiful hammered texture throughout. There are two small dings on the side of the cup but otherwise in wonderful condition. The bottom is clearly hallmarked.
