A Sterling Silver Cow butter spreader by Ball, Black & Co circa 1890. There is a cast cow resting on the tip tip of the handle as well as aa cow engraving on the side of the blade. The knife measures 7 3/4 inches long and weighs 1.7 troy ounces. The blank side of the blade is clearly hallmarked.
